Construction on Interstate 30 in North Little Rock Requires Lane Closures

PULASKI COUNTY (6-18) – Construction on I-30 in North Little Rock will require lane and ramp closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, the following travel impacts and traffic pattern changes will occur during the week of June 21, including detour routes.

  • Mon., June 21 | Long-term single-lane closures | Riverfront Drive | Long-term eastbound and westbound right-lane closures between Washington Avenue and Olive Street.
  • Mon., June 21 – Fri., June 25 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-40 eastbound ramp | Overnight single-lane closure between the I-40/I-30 split to the I-30 eastbound merge.
  • Mon., June 21 – Thurs., June 24 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 eastbound | Overnight single and double- lane closures between the Arkansas River and Bishop Lindsey Ave. Double-lane closures will be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. 
  • Mon., June 21 – Thurs., June 24 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 westbound | Overnight single and double-lane closures between 9th St. and Broadway St. Double-lane closures will be limited to 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. 
  • Tues., June 22 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | Bishop Lindsey Ave. | Overnight road closure between I-30 frontage roads. Detour will be signed to use 9th St. and Broadway St. See detour map NR 21-190-A for details.
  • Tues., June 22 – Wed., June 23 | 8 p.m. – 5 a.m. | I-30 eastbound and Broadway St. Exit (Exit 141B)| Overnight single and double-lane closures between the Arkansas River and Bishop Lindsey Ave. Double-lane closures will be limited to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Ramp detour will be signed to use Exit 142 to Curtis Sykes.   • Fri., June 25 at 8 p.m. – Sat., June 26 at 7 a.m. | I-30 eastbound| Single and double-lane closures between the Arkansas River and Bishop Lindsey Ave. Double-lane closures will be limited to 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Fri., June 25 at 8 p.m. – Sat., June 26 at 5 p.m. | Broadway St. | Road closure between I-30 frontage roads. Detour will be signed to use Bishop Lindsey Ave. and Riverfront Drive. See detour map 21-190-C for details.

Traffic will be controlled by construction barrels, signage, and flagging operations. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
