Construction Needs Lane Closures Tonight on I-430 & Cantrell Road

PULASKI COUNTY (9-16) – Construction in west Little Rock means overnight lane closures on Interstate 430 and Cantrell Road, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting; the contractor for Job 061630 (I-430) will close the southbound middle and outside lanes of Interstate 430 between Maumelle Blvd. (Highway 100) and Cantrell Rd. (Highway 10) tonight from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This closure will allow the contractor to place another section of latex-modified concrete (LMC).

Weather permitting; the contractor for Job 061331 (Cantrell Rd.) will close the northbound middle and outside lanes of Cantrell Rd. between Pleasant Valley Drive and the Arkansas River tonight from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. This closure will allow the contractor to install a safety platform on the existing Cantrell overpass.

Orange barrels, cones, message boards, and signage will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
