A temporary closure of Highway 98 is planned for Tuesday, May 30 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weather permitting, Union Pacific Railroad will be making repairs to a grade crossing approximately 1.7 miles southeast of US-79 near McNeil.

Drivers will be directed to detours on Highways 79 and 82.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
