ARDOT to Cut Ribbons on Two Newly Completed Projects Friday, May 20 in Northeast Arkansas

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) and local dignitaries will gather for two media events Friday, May 20 – ribbon-cuttings on two completed improvement projects.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Highway 18 BNSF Railroad Overpass will take place at 10 a.m. in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The $25.2 million contract was awarded to Capital Paving and Construction, LLC.

Following that event, a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Highway 412 widening will take place at noon near Paragould, Arkansas. This project widened 14 miles of Highway 412 from Highway 141 to Highway 67. Atlas Asphalt and Delta Asphalt of Arkansas were awarded the contract for $58.5 million.
