ARDOT Seeking Public Comment on Proposed Replacement of Highway 23 Bridge over Mulberry River

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT), in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration and the U.S. Forest Service (USFS), is proposing to replace the bridge on Highway 23 over the Mulberry River in Franklin County.

A draft Section 4(f) de minimis Evaluation analyzing potential impacts to the Mulberry River and other environmental clearances are available for review.  An Environmental Assessment and Addendum were previously released for comment.  This additional opportunity to comment allows for review of the supplemental environmental documentation now available.

Information about the project will be available and comments will be accepted from Wednesday, May 15 to 4:30 p.m. Monday, June 17

The USFS is a cooperating agency on this project. Comments provided to ARDOT will provide the commenter with standing to object under Forest Service policy.
