Interstate 440 is reduced to one lane of travel in the eastbound direction as crews work to make bridge repairs near the one-mile marker.

ARDOT crews are working to repair a section of the bridge deck, which will involve pouring new concrete. The repair work will take place this afternoon, and the concrete will require two days to cure before opening the lane to traffic.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.
