CLAY COUNTY | June 11, 2024

The Highway 62 bridge over the St. Francis River on the Missouri border will be closed for one week from Monday, June 10 through Monday, June 17, as the Missouri Department of Transportation (MODOT) conducts repairs.

The bridge is scheduled to be replaced by MODOT later this summer, with an estimated completion of early 2025. These repairs are preliminary ahead of the complete replacement.

Detour routes have been established on the following highways in Arkansas:

• Highway 62
• Highway 1

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
