Alternating lane closures are scheduled on Highway 7 on the Arkansas River Bridge between Dardanelle and Russellville beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday, June 2, and continuing around the clock for 10 weeks.

Crews will replace steel joints on each side of the bridge. All traffic will shift to the northbound lanes while work is being conducted on the southbound side. Traffic will then shift to the southbound lanes while work is conducted on the northbound side.

Traffic will be controlled with the use of barrels, message boards, and signage.

Drivers are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
