CARROLL COUNTY (9-10) – Phase II construction on the Beaver Bridge means continuous bridge closures, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, beginning Monday, September 13, crews will resume replacement of the timber deck and railing on the Highway 187 Beaver Bridge over the White River in Beaver. This work will require closure of the bridge continuously from 9:00 a.m. Monday to 5:00 p.m. Thursday. This work should be completed in three weeks.

Orange barrels, message boards, and signage will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
