Department Extending Comment Period For Western North-South Connector Study in Northwest Arkansas

BENTON COUNTY (9-15) – At the request of the public, the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) has extended the comment period for the Virtual Public Involvement Meeting to obtain public input on the Western North-South Connector Study, which will consider a new highway connection from Highway 612 (Springdale Northern Bypass) to Highway 549 (Bella Vista Bypass) in Northwest Arkansas. Preliminary improvement alternatives for this connection will be presented. 

The public is invited to view meeting materials and provide written comments. The website will now be available for comments until 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

To access the online public meeting, click on the link above.  It will take you to the online public meeting website. This website will provide project materials and handouts that would have been shown at an in-person meeting. A separate link (on the website) will provide a Spanish version of the presentation.
