ARDOT to Host In-Person Public Involvement Meeting to Discuss Drainage Improvements on Highway 60

The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will conduct a public involvement meeting in Conway from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 to discuss proposed improvements on Highway 60 west of the Arkansas River in Bigelow.

Improvements include raising the grade of Highway 60 and construct a drainage relief structure along the highway to minimize impacts from local flooding.  A draft Section (4F) de minimisevaluation will be available for review that contains an assessment of potential impacts to Toad Suck Park.

The in-person meeting will be held at Second Baptist Church (Student Center – Behind Main Church), 2600 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, AR 72034.

The public may view meeting materials and provide written comments online beginning Thursday, April 25.

Comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15.
