The Retirement Section is responsible for managing the Arkansas State Highway Employees’ Retirement System (ASHERS) under the direction of the ASHERS Board of Trustees. The Section maintains all individual employee retirement accounts including both service retirement and the Deferred Retirement Option Plan (DROP). The Section monitors the investment portfolio and prepares all financial statements for the System.
